The art of the Cosmos Quartet operates the mystery of beauty, with rigor and exigency sine-quibus-non. There is no music without a high level of effort and sacrifice, hours of reading and body gymnastics that needs ergonomics to help prevent contracture. But when this is achieved, the technique, which is by definition cold, is put at the service of the warmth of the emotion that strives to transmit: "do not get excited to get excited," said Umberto Eco forcing the machine a little, before of launching without a parachute from semiotics to the novel (…). The Cosmos Quartet dominates the technique all the way from the tip to the heel of the bows, with a robust legato, a very fine staccato, the convenient moderation of the vibrato and an emission as austere in forte as extroverted in piano.
