Musical excellence


Miquel Ramos Salvadó (Premià de Mar,1989) began to study clarinet at the Escola Municipal de Música de Premià de Mar with professor Francesc Navarro, and he continued at the Conservatori Professional de Música de Badalona with Xavier Castillo, and later at l’ESMuC with Josep Fuster. Durint this time he received musical advise by Lorenzo Coppola, Vicent Alberola and Quartet Casals.


He finished his training at the Musikhochschule in Lübeck by the hand of international soloist Sabine Meyer receiving top honors and enjoyed scholarships from JONDE/BBVA and Possehl Stipendium. He has performed with JONC and has participated with the Philharmonisches Orchester Lübeck as an academic. He is also a regular guest as a clarinet soloist at Festival Strings Luzern, Geneva Camerata, l’Orquestra del Gran Teatre del Liceu, l’OBC, the Philharmonisches Orchester Lübeck and l’Orquestra de Radio Televisió Espanyola, among others.


Besides, he is a member of the project Spira Mirabilis, where given the opportunity to interpret the classical repertoire with historical instruments, and of the recognized wind quintet Azahar Ensemble. In 2016 he debuted as a soloist performing the concert of Carl Nielsen with the Orquestra Camera Musicae at Palau de la Música Catalana.
