The pianism of Empordà Emma Stratton (Pals, 1999) is a mixture of singular virtuosity and musicality that explain why he deserves a prominent place among the talents of his generation. Stratton demonstrates an unusual communicative ability in a pianist of her youth, a fact that turns each of her performances into a unique emotional journey conducted with mastery and respect for the listener.

A student of, among other teachers, Carlota Garriga at the Marshall Academy and the prestigious Russian pianist Vladislav Bronevetzky at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), Emma Stratton's musical personality finds the balance between the necessary explosiveness to face repertoires of extreme technical difficulty and a musicality that never renounces good taste and stylistic rigor, worked on in a particularly intense way in the interpretation master's degree that ended in Hamburg in 2023 with professor Aleksandar Madžar, with whom he continues to perfect the technique and various repertoires. He has received the Alicia de Larrocha Scholarship 2024, promoted by the Palau de la Música Catalana, and in September 2024 he will release his first album, entitled Syndesi (Seed Music, 2024), with works by Beethoven, Granados, Liszt and Gubaidúlina.
