
Dec. 12BCPs STAR THE WORLD PREMIERE OF 'LA TRACE' BY LÓPEZ LÓPEZ IN MADRID AND BARCELONA
This 2019-2020 season, the chamber group Barcelona Clarinet Players he will star in two outstanding concerts in Madrid and Barcelona in which he will premiere the work trace it (2019, joint commission of the CNDM. Centro Nacional de Difusión Musical and L'Auditori de Barcelona) of José Manuel López López (Madrid, 1956), resident composer at the CNDM and who for the occasion collaborates with the video artist Pascal Auger in the making of this piece. In fact, the composer and video artist had previously collaborated on works such as The great celestial i Octandre, for example.
This project underlines the emphasis that the Barcelona Clarinet Players have always placed in relation to artistic innovation, fusion and interdisciplinarity and which is evidenced in recording works such as Offertorium, published by Seed Music in 2018 (SEED 005) and focused on contemporary music.
The concerts of this production will take place on the days February 24, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. at the Queen Sofia Museum (Auditorio 400, in Madrid), within the Series 20/21 cycle; and the May 14, 2020, at 8 p.m., in the Auditorium (Room 1. Pau Casals, Stage), within the Series Sampler.
