The Barcelona Art Orchestra was born with the desire to occupy a hitherto empty space within the Catalan music scene: a stable formation and continuous work that counts on the complicity of a group of musicians of an exceptional level to offer high-quality interpretations that , starting from jazz and chamber music, explore various musical genres and look for synergies with other artistic disciplines such as theatre, dance or poetry. The group project is an initiative of Lluís Vidal, Néstor Giménez, Lluc Casares and Joan Vidal who seek to combine in one project several styles and several generations of musicians, thus bringing together the enormous talent and creativity of the Catalan jazz scene. With this new album they take another step towards interdisciplinary creation, connecting music with literature, collective imagination, witchcraft and a live production with a dance stage vision.
