JOEL BARDOLET LEADS THE LASSUS QUARTET

One of Joel Bardolet's main projects today is his stable quartet, Lassus Quartett, a group he leads as a first violinist with musicians from other countries. The Lassus Quartett form it Joel Bardolet, violin; Antonio Viñualesviolin; Adam Newman, violet; i David Eggert, cello.

Established in Switzerland since 2015, it represents an innovative proposal within chamber music. It integrates choral voices based on an original programming that mixes new and old repertoire for chamber. The group recognizes the main influence of the members of the Hagen Quartet, especially Rainer Schmidt, as well as Ferenć Rados, Clive Brown and Claudio Martínez Mehner. They have already been invited to play at multiple chamber music festivals and cycles across Europe, including Switzerland, Germany, France, Norway and Portugal.

His original and groundbreaking programs reflect his curiosity about the practice of contemporary composition and Renaissance Franco-Flemish polyphony (to whom they owe their name), among others.
